CONSENT
By placing a reservation with Airport Orbit, Inc. the client acknowledges and expressly agrees to Airport Orbit, Inc.’s policies, terms and conditions and further authorizes Airport Orbit, Inc. to charge their credit card for the full transfer reservation booking and all charges relating, including, but not limited to, charging the credit card in full for the reservation should the client be considered a no-show. Service is deemed rendered, whether the client enters the vehicle or not, when the cancellation period is reached. All clients are required to sign and present the original client copy, e-mail copy or fax copy confirmation to the driver at pick-up; unless a signed authorization has been placed on file with Airport Orbit prior to pick up.
GRATUITY
The usual customary gratuity is 15% that is calculated to the base fare and any additional charges. Gratuity is based on service. If the client feels that the driver has performed beyond average it is the option of the client to raise the gratuity accordingly. Clients who wish to provide an additional cash gratuity may do so at their discretion and is only in addition to the 15% already paid. Clients will not receive full or partial refunds for 15% gratuity by providing a cash tip to the driver.
LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS
Airport Orbit, Inc. is not responsible for items/articles/baggage that are left in the vehicles, lost, stolen or damaged. Airport orbit reserves the right to charge postage fees (via United Parcel Services) and handling fees for returning lost items if found.
RESPONSIBILITY
Terms and Conditions are legally binding upon the client. The full transfer reservation booking confirmation slip, along with Airport Orbit’s tariff are on file with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission and constitute the sole contract between the individual passenger/client named on the confirmation slip and Airport Orbit, Inc. Airport Orbit, Inc. does not accept any responsibility for any actions of the client. Airport Orbit, Inc.’s liability for failure to perform or for any delay in performance is limited to refunding to the client any payment received for the involved service, including a refund of any payment to secure the reservation. The purchase of a full transfer reservation booking and the confirmation slip do not guarantee transportation. The transportation provided is subject to these written terms. Airport Orbit, Inc. shall in no way be liable for any indirect, special or consequential damages or expenses resulting from the performance or delay in performance of, or failure to perform, transportation of said client and other services incidental thereto, whether or not Airport Orbit, Inc. had knowledge that such damages might be incurred. It is the sole responsibility of client to make a full transfer reservation booking for a time far enough in advance of the desired time of arrival at the destination in order to allow for any such delays or problems. Selecting a pick-up time later than what is recommended could result in missing an appointment. Airport Orbit, Inc. can not be held responsible, and the reservation will be marked as “Time Requested by Client”. Airport Orbit, Inc. reserves the right to cancel service when, in its sole discretion, the weather creates conditions prohibiting safe travel. In addition, no service will be provided when the roads are closed due to a snow emergency or other emergency situations. Airport Orbit, Inc. accepts no responsibility for nor can they be held in any way responsible for delays and/or early arrivals of other connecting carriers, or other problems caused by acts of God, or other situations which might arise to affect service, including but not limited to mechanical failure, road construction, traffic conditions/delays and/or circumstances beyond their control. Airport Orbit, Inc. agrees to issue confirmations for and provide for such transportation service between points listed in the confirmation only at times listed for the fee listed. Airport Orbit, Inc. accepts no responsibility to wait for clients, search for clients or provide any other extraordinary means of reaching clients in order to transport them, other than to wait no longer than fifteen minutes from the designated pick-up time only.
Airport Orbit, Inc. reserves the following rights: (1) Right to change terms of the confirmation and terms herein listed; (2) Right to refuse to transport clients/passengers for any reason deemed by the driver, in his or her sole discretion, as unsafe or undesirable; and (3) Right to change route and times.
Airport Orbit, Inc. has the responsibility to: (1) Refund charges paid by a passenger when cancellation is made according to the terms herein stated; and (2) Provide transportation vehicle with driver at the times and locations designated on the confirmation and in the possession of the passenger, subject to the terms and conditions herein stated.
It is the sole responsibility of the Client/Passenger to: (1) Arrange and pay for transportation with a booking agent, during booking hours, at least 24 hours in advance; (2) Meet Airport Orbit, Inc. driver at the times and places designated on the confirmation; (3) Notify Airport Orbit of any arrival delays or schedule changes that affect the client’s arrival time by more than 15 minutes; (4) Cancel transportation with a booking agent, during booking hours, at least 15 hours prior to times shown on documents or the credit card on file will be charged for all applicable charges and rates; and (5) Read, become familiar with and understand the information on the confirmation form for complete details regarding where to meet drivers and the full terms/conditions of the reservation.
VEHICLES: DAMAGE / CLEANING
The client is responsible for all damages and/or cleaning charges incurred including but not limited to: Vomit/Sickness, Beverage Spillage, Burns, Upholstery Tears, and/or Opening a Car Door into another Vehicle or Stationary Object, etc. Vehicle images listed on website or in promotional material may differ from the actual vehicle. Airport Orbit, Inc. vehicles are late model and impeccably maintained.
TERMINATION
Airport Orbit, Inc. reserves the right to terminate any reservation without refund, if the driver or Airport Orbit, Inc. booker/dispatcher feels that the client and/or Party of the Client is putting the Driver or the mode of transportation or the Client and/or Party of the Client in danger of injury. Or, if the Client and/or Party of the Client are in possession of any illegal material and/or substance, this service will be canceled without refund.
PRIVACY POLICY
All information collected about clients is for internal use only. Airport Orbit Inc. does not make their mailing list available to any third party. Client’s name and personal information supplied is used for the purpose of rendering service or to collect payments for services rendered. Communication information (telephone numbers and e-mail addresses) are used for sending confirmations, information, inquires, confirmations and services only.
